We feel like we could never measure up to examples like Jesus or even Paul, but we also have Timothy and Epaphroditus and Paul says to honor such men.
Why does Paul say to honor Timothy and Epaphroditus? Is it because they are on his team or because they have followed through with being faithful. The preach Christ out of “good will” not out of rivalry or good will. They are not trying to make themselves famous, but Christ famous - so Paul says they should “honor” them.

3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Look not to your own______________ (“interest” is not in the Greek, it is only a filler word. Your own stuff, your own house, your own family, your own employment your own wardrobe or refridgerator. But also the ___________________ of others. This is the kind of humility that Paul is talking about.
Humility is not thinking less of yourself (certainly Jesus didn’t) but it is thinking of yourself less. Don’t miss this for those sufering from false humility and asceticism.
