signifies “the speaking forth of the mind and counsel of God”
In We read about the appointing of the first King of Isreal named Saul.
Saul was informed by a Prophet to go to the school of Prophets and that the Spirit of God would come over him and cause him to prophesy and that he would become a new man as a result of the encounter.
in King David was hanging out at the school of prophets where Samuel the Prophet was training others to prophesy and Saul who wanted to kill David sent messengers to capture David they all began to prophesy.
Three times Saul sent his messengers and all three times they would get to the school of prophets, see Samuel standing as their leader and the Spirit of God would come over them and they would all start to prophesy.
Finally Saul himself went to capture David and he too falling with his face toward the ground took off his garments and began to prophesy.
