Where does faith come from?

Romans 10:17 KJV 1900
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith comes _By hearing_

The word of God
++Enables us to _hear_
++Is the source of faith
Mark 9:24 KJV 1900

Moses was told
++To teach ordinances and laws
++To shew the way they must walk
++To lead in the work they must do
God commands Moses to teach his people.
Up to this point Moses spent the vast majority of his time responding to the needs of the people. He answered their questions.
Though he was the Leader. The conversations were being directed by the people. There needs, problems and issues.
There is a difference in responding to needs and teaching.
There will always be needs, problems and issues.
Moses had a word from the Lord. Revelation, Instructions, and information from God.
What he had would lay the foundation of what his followers would be.
