Saddened and distressed

David is distress. This word has duel meaning that both apply. He is wrapped up, enveloped. The reality is that every one of us have been where David has been. The question then isn’t now how to avoid sadness and distress, and problems. Some might have a magic formula for that. But, avoiding trials is possible. The real point of interest is what do you do when you find yourself there. So much time is spent these days with claiming your season, claiming your blessings, planning for greatness that when life shifts and pain emerges that we aren’t prepared. We entered the “New Year, New Me” and didn’t prepare for the death in the family. We posted on social media that we would be positive and have new habits but didn’t prepare for the guilt of the inevitable relapse into old habits. We must understand that because you are distressed that it means that God does not love, it does not mean you don’t have faith, it does not mean God has forgotten about you. All it means is that you are alive and well and God is not through with you yet.
So, what is David so upset over?
