Roll Your Way on Him
Scripture Focus: Psalm 37:1-11
\\ "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of \\ your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do \\ this" (Psalm 37:4-5).
\\ \\ At the moment of trust we cannot worry; at the time of worrying we \\ are not trusting.
It's that simple.
But when trouble comes and \\ threatens to overwhelm us, it's so easy to spend more time worrying \\ than trusting.
\\ \\ Long ago David found the secret of handling the tremendous burdens \\ that came to him.
The Hebrew text reads, "Roll thy way upon the \\ Lord."
This is the only thing to do with your burden deliberately \\ roll it from your weary shoulders over to the Lord and trust Him to \\ see you through.
That means being transparent with Him, admitting \\ your need and your simple trust in His love and His ability to work \\ powerfully in your behalf.
\\ \\ Whatever may be your biggest burden just now, God invites you to take \\ it to Him and leave it there, trusting that in His omnipotent and \\ magnificent way, He will bring to pass that which will bring praise
