?Do I focus on what Christ has done for me?
Think:
A worldly person focuses on what he does: rules and regulations?
A spiritual person focuses on what Christ has done: redemption.
What is your focus in life. 6 points that help us to focus.

1. Christ is your complete Completer.

All we need is Christ. He is more than enough for what is needed.
Peter agrees with what Paul is putting down.
2 Peter 1:3–4 KJV 1900
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2 Peter
c. Some are advocating that we always need more than what God is given. I think God knows best of what I need. Remember
d. We are right with God because of Christ and nothing else. To add anything would be to say that Christ is not enough.

2. Christ is your authoritative Authority.

a. Jesus Christ is the top … head, the CEO over everything. He is not the king on the Chess board, but the One moving the pieces.
b. Herod was confused and Jesus set him straight by saying in
John 19:10–11 KJV 1900
Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.
c. All that you have is given to you. You are delusional. People think they have power to run their mouths about thinks they don’t even understand … abortion, Homosexuality, lying, stealing, cursing.
d. Since Christ is the ultimate authority how should this affect my view of Scripture and Command of God in His Word?
e. Why do children and teens buck the authority of their parents or wife of her Husband’s authority, even Dads with God’s authority … ? One Word keeps tripping us up PRIDE.
Scripture to help us think this through:
James 4:6–10 KJV 1900
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
James
1 Peter 5:5–7 KJV 1900
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
What is James and Peter saying put it in your own words.

Adrian Rogers asked the question:
“Do you want to live a supernatural life of victory? The Victory Express runs on two tracks: Trust and obey.
also
“We do not fight for victory; we fight from victory. The victory was won at Calvary!”
A preacher Guy King was at a train station waiting on the train to come. Another Train pulled in and the local football team got off the train when an eager fan ran up to one of the football players and asked if had they won. The player answered to the fan they had and the young fan ran back to a group of his friends saying “we one” “we one” and Preacher King, Who had been watching the lad, observes, “Now really, how much had he done to gain the victory? What did he have to do with the struggle on the football field?” The boy had identified so closely with the team that he could rejoice in the successful outcome of the game.
