Change is a funny thing. Sometimes we really want it, bored of the same old, same old. Other times we greatly resist it, wanting to keep things exactly as they are. But God always intended us for change. Growing old, for example, is constant change and growth and improvement. And in a sinful world, more radical changes are demanded. Conversion, for one – having the old life replaced with a new one. And then Transformation – being changed and shaped and improved to become more like Jesus. Not only are these changes necessary – they also determine the other changes we make, and the way we deal with changes made to us.
