The revelation of the strength of God
How often have we relied on our own strength? our own abilities? our own intuition? We have been taught, most of us, to be self reliant and independent from needing any outside help. But the truth is that we have always and will always need help. Even if we have figured out how to become independent in some areas, we are deficient in others. But we serve a God that is deficient in NOTHING!!!! In Him there is no lack, only life, power , strength, and love.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

In human weakness
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
