What is doctrine? It is the teachings of scripture revealed to us. The “words of faith” teaches us to believe in a person, the Lord Jesus Christ. “Good doctrine” is the teachings of that person in whom we have put our faith and trust. (See ).
We don’t need to know all the teachings, principles, and admonitions of the Word of God in order to be saved. On the other hand, we do need to grow in this knowledge afterwards.

We need to know what God says to find the answers in life, and in order to know how to please Him.

Will you leave it on the shelf to gather dust? Will you glance at it carelessly? Or will you read it faithfully, with great attention? We are to “give attention to reading...” What will you do?
Application: We must consciously, carefully read God’s Word each and every day.
Question 1: Have you been faithful to read you Bible faithfully? Challenge to read through the New Testament before Naadam.
Question 2: Have you been living under the authority of the Bible? Challenge to submit to God’s wisdom and direction.
