What is a Relationship?
Answer: “ The way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.”
What are some examples of a relationship?
Husband and Wife
Sister or a brother
Two or more businesses working together.
God created relationship

Where do we see the first relationship in the Bible?
What is the first relationship in the Bible?
Creation is where we see the first relationship.
This first relationship has always been and always will be.
This relationship is perfect and always has been.
What is the trinity? Be specific
This relationship is the trinity.
The word trinity is doctrine / belief which the Bible teachers.
The word is not used in the Bible; it is a teaching brought out of the text.
The teaching of the trinity covers God in His three different persons.

Monotheism is the belief or religion that believes in only one God.
Polytheism

Is Christianity just a Religion? What type of religion is Christianity?
CHRISTIANITY IS A MONOTHEIST RELIGION, but Christianity is a relationship not just a religion.
“Before we can talk about the Trinity, we have to talk about unity, because the word Trinity means ‘tri-unity.’ Behind the concept of unity is Biblical affirmation of monotheism” (Sproul. 3)
Old Testament Evidence of One God
Do not have other gods besides me.
You were shown these things so that you would know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him.
If only they were wise, they would comprehend this;
they would understand their fate.
This is what the Lord says:
“The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush
and the Sabeans, men of stature,
will come over to you
and will be yours;
they will follow you,
they will come over in chains
and bow down to you.
They will confess to you,
‘God is indeed with you, and there is no other;
there is no other God.’ ”
Remember what happened long ago,
for I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and no one is like me.

Evidence of God who is true in the NT.
About eating food sacrificed to idols, then, we know that “an idol is nothing in the world,” and that “there is no God but one.” For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth—as there are many “gods” and many “lords”—yet for us there is one God, the Father. All things are from him, and we exist for him. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things are through him, and we exist through him.
making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope at your calling—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.
You believe that God is one. Good! Even the demons believe—and they shudder.

The working out of the trinity through the Bible
Creation
ROLE OF THE FATHER: / The administrator
yet for us there is one God, the Father. All things are from him, and we exist for him. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ. All things are through him, and we exist through him.
ROLE OF THE SON: / Did the fathers will for the creation
For everything was created by him,
in heaven and on earth,
the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions
or rulers or authorities—
all things have been created through him and for him.
He is before all things,
and by him all things hold together.
ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: / Hovered over the face of the water.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, the whole earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.”
Man was created in the “Image of God.”

Definition of image of God: A concrete image drawing, copy, statue, mold, Image, a real touchable existent that represent the spirit, the relational image of the trinity.
Mankind was created to be relational and social.

The father knew man was going to be a sinful being who would rebel against God him, and out of His love for us He came up with a plan to save us and make a way we will be with Him for all of eternity.
Son (Implementer)
Jesus Christ was the plan. He came down to earth and lived a perfect live and shed blood and died on the cross and arose three days later.
Holy Spirit (Righteous enticer)
The Holy Spirit brings us to Christ and help us to come to a realization of our sin.
