ὀφείλω (opheilō), owe; be obligated.

Do we understand our failings and disobedience as debt incurring?
Do we understand that even the actions performed against people are an affront and rebellion against God?

Forgive

In what sense do we mean forgiveness?
Why ask for forgiveness if God has pointed to Jesus as the payment?
Is Jesus’ forgiveness efficacious for all my sins? And if so, why must I still pray for forgiveness?
