INTRODUCTION
The book of Joshua is unique in its setting and content.
The overall message is one of courage and obedience.
To put Joshua in its overall setting we must first look at the way the Bible is laid out.
The Bible is divided into two parts Old and New Testament.
The Old Testament is divided into The Pentateuch - 5 Books of the Law, the 12 books of History Starting with Joshua and ending with Esther, The Books of Poetry, The Major and Minor Prophets or Big books and small ones and The Books of Prophecy.
