Theme: The power to enjoy God’s life by obeying Him. When you obey God, you will still get opposition. Peter uses the example of Noah as a description for us, the whole world hated God, but Noah stood for Him. The power to live the Gospel comes through receiving the death of Jesus, pledging your faith to Jesus in baptism and recognizing Jesus as Lord.
