Then God spoke all of these words saying I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. May God bless and read his word may be seated.

When I was 16 years old daddy took me out in the side yard there and taught me how to change my own oil and there was no need to to pay anybody to do something you could do for yourself. You ain't talking about changing the air filter check into the PVC valve handle getting out of there in Greece in the the grease fittings that were on the language most cars that they don't have anymore and I've always change my own oil and ever since dad passed away of always change Mama's as well, but it feels good to drive a car that has had the oil freshly change. It feels like it runs but you know, if you've done the maintenance like you're supposed to and on-time, it doesn't but it just it just makes you feel like it's it's it's running better in a changing the air filter go in the front end of the drive shaft just feels like it's everything is handling better. Same thing will washing the car horseshoe you wash your car throughout the year, but it's getting think about a lot of times. It's time to years is getting beat vacation time your daddy always been the day before we would leave on vacation the car always got the the extra Spot Treatment. It would get the deluxe treatment would go in the hall closet there and get out the old canister style Electrolux vacuum cleaner, you might still use one. Charlie all right good vacuum cleaners, but you can plug it in and got about 20 ft x 10 ft long. You never had to remove the canister is about like going to the carwash using that hose but you'll get out there and clean it and get out there with the Q-tips and cleaned at the air condition vents in the local grooves in the dashboard and it cause they come up in the day before armor. Also, a lot of times I use baby oil on the dashboard and smelled better to you and I still a tradition I'll follow you know any time we're getting ready to take a trip and go on vacation. You need the extra treatment for the call just seems to run better when it's clean. And it's all in your head. It really doesn't but it seems to just run run about after you've done all the cleaning to it several weeks ago before I want has ended light came up to me SMS daddy. Look at look at my new tennis shoes. These tennis shoes make me run faster and you took off running across the the fellowship hall data. Show me. Did they make him run a faster now? They didn't feel like it. I'm still outrun his daddy, but that ain't saying much.

I've seen it 50 yard dash and wanting clothes.

But I was thinking you know, what if there were something in our spiritual life one that there was something and I'll walk with God that would make us feel like we had an oil change and made us feel like we had a new pair of tennis shoes for our spiritual life, you know something that the revs it up something that they gets it running at his Peak Performance cuz I don't know where you are this morning. Maybe your hair this morning in your face is on fire for God. Maybe you'll walk with him as it is his passion in the end is an intense it is ever bench and maybe you had this morning. Just we'll see how how you can Stoke that fire. I may be here this morning. They've been a Christian for fall of your life or been Christian for years after years after years and added the time passes at the window down. The next to nothing and is drained. Maybe you here this morning and feel like your walk with God and running on all cylinders. I don't know you may be here this morning though. Somebody broke in here. But whatever reason you're here today, wouldn't it be great if we had something we could read something we could study something we could apply to our spiritual life. That would get it running at Peak Performance. There is such a thing. It's called The Ten Commandments we go to the basic rules of God's living when we go back to the beginning and see what God expects. I was when we go back and see how God wants us to live and start living by those 10 basic things. It puts a a spring and I'll step with Walt a spring in the step up while I walk with God it rejuvenates and we'll change our lives if we're simply obey what God has has here to say Force know if you saw my Facebook post on the message this week, you know that that I put there that the most America survey said the most Americans can name the ingredients of a Big Mac quicker than they can name the ten commandments 80% of all Americans have a survey their know that the all-beef Patty is part of the Big Mac. But only 60% of them could identify do not kill as one of the Ten Commandments and it gets worse 45% of them could 45 of them. Could we recognize and honor your father and mother is one of the Ten Commandments only 34% recognize observe the Sabbath and keep it. Holy as a Ten Commandments only 29% of Americans surveyed recognize that God said there shall be no Idols before me. And where is Americans know hamburgers, but we don't know the Ten Commandments. Going back to the Back store leading up to the most is getting the Ten Commandments. Joseph has been sold into slavery by his brothers. His brothers are jealous of them. They can't stand in they can't they got to get rid of them do anything you want to they come up with the idea of killing him. So now we can't we can't do that is is he's our brother so they sold him off into slavery and through a series of events when I will go back through this morning ends up in in Egypt and ends up in in prison and hands up and says Pharoahe is having dreams and they're bothering him and none of his me and could could interpret inform none of them knew what they meant. They he heard that that Joseph knew how to interpret dreams and that God has given him this gift and a call Joseph and Joseph interpreted his dreams that looking of this God is saying they're going to be 7 years a bounty 7 years of Great Harvest. But after that, I can be 7 years of famine like this world has never seen and whero can look at Joseph and see that the god pan is a pieman. The God is moving through his life is a Joseph. I'm going to put you in charge of all of this for the next 14 years has this Great Harvest is coming in. I'm going to put you in charge up of storing it of organizing it and then when the seven years of famine hit I want you to be in charge of Distributing the food back into the nation. So is the fam and hit you know, that that is it it hit the most of the world at that time and Joseph family comes down to Egypt looking for food Joseph recognize the woman again through the through the series event ends up moving them to Egypt. I got to be able to protect them regardless of what they have done to him. He still loved them and they Hebrews they began to the X and it wasn't long before they were more Hebrews in Egypt in that were Egyptians in Egypt and Pharaohs the payroll came and went in the new whero didn't know who Joseph was and say rubber. You think about it and began to look around at the population said, you know, if the way these Hebrews are populating this country. It ain't to be long that's going to be an uprising they don't take over. I'm going slave the Hebrews before this happens over 400 years. They served in slavery under the Egyptian oppression day until God raises up Moses. The set the people free God uses play got to play into to convince Fay Road and eventually whero is had enough? It just just take them just leave just get out of here take him with you cannot take anymore that they heading toward the promised. Land favor rethinks his Whole Life policies there in a Cell, you know, the Nations around us going to get look at me. They can look at free my slaves are going to see it as a as a symbol of weakness. I can't have that. It sends his army out to to recapture the Hebrews and bring them back because you know, the story of Moses split the Red Sea open they are the Hebrews crossover on dry land and when the Egyptians come come chasing and I from God sent them the waves crashing back down on them and taking out the mightiest army in the world at this time. Now after that they're headed to the promised land. They're all on the way going to the land. They look for 442 for hundreds of years now back way back with Father Abraham guy says, you know, I'm going Sabes a great nation out of you. I'm going to make you the Senate as great as they the stars are in the sky the saying is upon to see and they are heading toward this promised land. And is there heading there God stop them and call most calls Moses up on the mountain to give him the Ten Commandments God wanted to establish before they went into the promised land before he officially made a nation. He wanted to establish what he expected of them how they were supposed to live their lives guy says, I don't want to be there to be any surprises for you. When you cross over the Jordan River into the promised land. God says, I want you to start off on the right foot. If you're going to be my chosen people of you going to be the ones that I've been paying this land for all this time. I want you to know what I expect of you. I guess that's off of weeks ago when I announced that I will begin a series on this upcoming and I have never preached through the Ten Commandments and I preached on my Daltrey. I know and maybe not having any bottles. Maybe I've always stayed away from doing a serious through the Ten Commandments cuz they're they're short. You know that that to the point their basic.

But sometimes we need to get back to the basics. First I will see this morning's God says he is God. God says he is God Universe number one in the first half of number to then God spoke. All these words saying I am the Lord your God God starts out saying to Moses is Moses when you go down and talk to these people make sure they realize who this is coming from make sure they realize this is your idea. This is a list that you came up with. This isn't Aaron didn't come to you and put together a committee and come up with these 10 ideas. Make sure they realize where they came from his Godly is as man and Joshua Joshua and Caleb off. They didn't slip you a notice you were heading up the mountain that making a list of suggestions to you. God says Moses make sure they know. What I'm saying? Hang from me.

It says I have been God spoke all these words. Nothing is opinion. Nothing is made up by man. God spoke all of these words to his people to establish what their priorities would it be how they were to live their lives. And the way that they were to serve God God is establishing from the beginning that these are his words and their to be obeyed and then to be heard and the lived out the nation realize who it was that brought them out of slavery. He wasn't by accident if a roll of them go. God want them to know I'm the one that's been been preparing the promised land for you. I'm the one that over these last four hundred years or probably about 400 years of slavery even back 450 years ago for $0.01 5 years ago in the famine hitting you first move down to the Egypt here. I want you to know that I was the one that's been working behind the scenes the whole time. You didn't see my hand working. You didn't hear me speak and you didn't know what was going on. But God said I want the people to know I was the one that was working behind the scenes. Make sure the people know that I'm the one that saved Moses when Pharaoh sent the order to do to kill all the baby boys that was getting nervous again about the the authorized and I'm the one that saved Moses from being kill. I'm the one that make sure he was raised and now he's the one that's leading this nation. I'm the one that created this world. I'm the one that gave you breath. I'm the one that said that told you how to be saved when the the death angel was coming through the streets of Egypt. I'm the one that you saw just days ago. They got the mightiest army in the world with just a little water. I am the Lord your God with that one statement God that defies two things. I am the Lord. And to be your God I am the Lord nothing can change that but you need to make sure in your life that I am your God. God said you aren't in control. Make sure they realize the favor would never in control. Bay Lightning control Moses, even though he's the leader evening control guy says let the people know I am their God. I'm asking this morning. You say you are God this morning. If he the absolute Lord of your life.

If it's not. Your life's an empty shell of what it could be. If God in the top priority in your life. Your life is an empty shell what God wants it to be God demands and deserves to be our God.

Is it Google? Is there anything in your life more important than God? Play anybody in your life more important than God.

If God in the number one thing in your life, you've got Unforgiven seeing your life. If God is Not Top the top priority in your life. You've already broke. The Ten Commandments of God isn't in control of your life isn't the driving force of your life isn't number one in your life is no need to look at the other nine cuz of other night or hinged upon the fact the number one that God is the Lord of our life all the Commandments are linked together because of that all through that and if he isn't, If you're not keeping the first commandment. You're not going to keep the rest of them. Make sure the Lord is your god second. I can look at this morning. It's got this. Look what I've done for you. Look what I've done for you. Go back to work number 2. I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt out of the house of slavery 400 years. They Hebrews absurd pharaoh before hundred years of blistering African Heat. Making bricks out of mud. There is one thing to work in the heat when you're working up about waist-high. I'll head high but they're down on the ground using their hands using the mixing in the water mixing in the straw stomp it in the mud making bricks with a rope building his cities. Payroll audit ordered all the baby boys to be killed in in fear of an uprising. It's been tough. It was a difficult four hundred years that they had endured in in in Egypt there, but God says remember this I'm the one that brought you out of that. I'm the one that delivered you from that. I'm the one that freed you. I'm the one that was working behind the scene getting the promised land ready for you during this difficult time. God Seth stop and realize what I have done for you. They won't quickly forget it a guy says stop and realize what I've done for you.

When you're picking and choosing your priorities in life, God says remember what I have done for you. That no doubt got their attention when they read that when Moses read it off of those stone tablets and no doubt got their attention goes after 400 years of slavery. No doubt some almost helped y'all probably sat on graduation day. I'm going to go out and I'm finally going to sow some Wild Oats or I'm finally we going out of the out of slavery. Now. I'm going to head around I'm going to look at the way the other nations a living. I'm a look at the way other people limit and I will decide how I'm going to live my life. I'm going to make my choices. I'm going to live the way that I want to live. I'm going to live my life. God said remember what I've done for you. Remember why I brought you from? 1st Corinthians, the 11th chapter verses 24 through 25 says this When are they giving thanks, he broke it at school. He broke it and said this is my body which is for you do this in remembrance of me. And in the same way, you took the cup also after supper. This cup is the New Covenant in my blood do this and is often you drink it in remembrance of Me Jesus as his gathered together in the upper room with his disciples celebrating Passover on Thursday night. I'm a day early because on Friday Jesus was going to be hanging on the cross and Izzy's there is going to be arrested. He says to them they selling the beginning to tell him about the the offer of forgiveness the offer of what he's going to do and making the the sacrifice for for their sins and is Jesus breaks the bread and he begins to the pass it around. He says, you know

This represents my body just to be broken for you tomorrow. That's going to be beat. This could be nailed to The Old Rugged Cross. Jesus says remember what I'm about to do for you. He passed the cup around them as they pass it around and say, you know, this represents my blood just go tomorrow when they owe me to the cross and Jesus says that every time you drink of this remember what I've done for you.

Tomorrow we set aside as a nation Memorial Day to Remember what men and women have done for us. It's important to always remember. And may Our Lives never ever belittle what God has done for us. May Our Lives never belittle what God has done even though we couldn't do it for ourselves. He bled and died. So that we didn't have to go to hell.

When were choosing what's most important in our lives? Who am I picking off priorities? God says remember what I've done for you. When it comes to Sunday morning. Shoes in the washer or not? Remember what God has done for you when it comes to our finances. God says remember what I've done for you when it comes to gossip or the bill somebody up remember what God has done for you when it comes to our priorities in life. Remember what God has done for you. We should be bound to God out of gratitude of everything that he has done for us because ultimately we would be lost and up the creek without a paddle with or without what God has done for us. Last time we'll look at this morning's that no one is more important. No one is more important. Go back to verse number 3. You shall have no other gods before me. God says it is plain and as simple as it can you shall not?

Have anything more important your life than I am. I know some people sit here this morning, so I don't have any false gods in my life. And I hope that's true. How many people is here today? I've seen too many people not here today. Because that relationship there is more important to him than God. Hey Brother shack up and come to church and here to the sin.

So it becomes their top priority. Springtime is here. You'll quickly see what people's priorities on Sunday.

We can sit here and make a list of the hundreds of things until the day to Jesus comes back but a false god isn't just a wood carving sitting on a mantelpiece in our living room a false god is anything anything in your life is more important than God is and God says the number one commandment. The number one on my top ten list is nothing is more important than your light in your life than I am. It's fine have other things in my life. It's fine to have other relationships and other people in my life. As long as God is number one.

Is a number one in your life? Is God the top part in your life again, if if you if you're not keeping number one, you forget about 2 through 10 for the rest of my hands upon the fact that would keep an commandment number one. Is he number one in your life by? If not, you may want to come do business with God this morning. You may want to come say God. I need to reorganize my party's God. I need to get you to be number one in my life Lord. My life has drifted off of where it needs to be. Jesus was asked. What's the greatest commandment? John 14:15 says If you love me, you'll keep my Commandments. If you love me, you will keep my Commandments. That is the litmus test for a Christian. High school biology, you did all kinds of of litmus test on an alkaline and whatnot. I'm surprised. I remember that much but it tells you what it is. John 14:15 is the litmus test for a question.

If you love Jesus, you're keeping his Commandments. plain simple Are you keeping his Commandments this morning? Is he the number one thing person priority in your life? If not, let me invite you to come to the office this morning get it straight. Mad about you to come say Lord. My there may not be anything wrong in my life a little my priorities have gotten out of stat. They've gotten out of whack. They're not where they need to be Florida Line my priorities again. I have invitations him 4:35. God says remember what I've done for you. Jesus said the same thing in the upper room the heavenly father told Moses Jesus told his disciples remember what I've done for you. And live your life by him number 435 the standard scene.
