hebrews 10
To hold fast is not something we must do to maintain our salvation but it is a sign of our everlasting salvation.
That we hold fast always with hope, without wavering meant to not revolt back to the old ways of the OT Covenant.
To not waver would also mean to endure persecution and possible torture.
With that confidence Christians can persevere to the end because of the one who has promised.
Amen, in Hebrew means affirmation.
We still utter Amen in affirmation today, everyday.
Here Paul is speaking back to the gospels and Acts to the disciples when they said YES to Christ.
We to still today say YES to Christ and we should shout it out daily with a mighty Amen for the promises of His glory.
All of these promises, peace, joy,, love, goodness, sanctification, salvation, fellowship, hope, glorification, and heaven are made and fulfilled through Jesus Christ
God is above all.
The almighty.
He cant not be faithful in His promises.
The grace will always be supplied to fulfill the calling of Christians.
His faithfulness means we will always be saved, our sins will always be forgiven, PAST-PRESENT-FUTURE
In order to live out Gods promises we must know Gods promises and the best way to meditate on them is to pray them and speak them back to Him.
Maybe at our old feeble age we remember that God has promised a place for us in Heaven.
Maybe in a time of pain God has promised comfort and peace.
Maybe in a time of loss or financial burden God has promised to never leave you or forsake you.
He is there always.
HOLD FAST
