1. Grace is unmerited
The hallmark of Grace is that you can’t earn it.
If it were attainable by effort it wouldn't be grace, it would be reward.
But, Grace that is when God shows unmerited favor and kindness toward those who are otherwise undeserving it.

2. Gloating is impossible
We humans are prone to pride, consistently conceited, acquainted with arrogance, and we brag and boast.
