Introduction

There has been a number of famous disputes between scientist, in the scientific world, often with the scientist who was correct in the scientific dispute being discredited, by their peers, losing their status and position and lively-hood. For instance Nicola Tesla who was correct about AC electrical power transmission being superior to DC power in his dispute with Thomas Edison. At the end of his life Tesla was financially bankrupt and scientifically isolated.

Body

The beautiful words of the Gospel we just heard Jesus speak, these short verses that can easily be memorized, prayed upon and made personal, “My Sheep Hear my Voice, I know them and they Follow me. I give them eternal and they shall never parish. No one can take them out of my hands, my father who gave them to me is greater than all and no one can take them out of my father’s hand, the father and I are one.” these beautiful words of Jesus were spoken in the midst of a bitter disputes. You see, Jesus had just opened the eyes of a man born blind, and the people had brought him to the Pharisees, and the Pharisees said Jesus was not from God was a sinner because he healed on Sabath, and the people were disputing that no one could heal a blind man unless he was from God. and Jesus brought the dispute to a boiling head by saying “The Father and I are One” They picked up stones to stone him Jesus said for what works are you stoning me, they said we are not stoning you for your miracles but because you make yourself God. and the dispute has gone on to this day.

Conclusion

But Jesus settled the dispute, by raising from the dead, seem by many cloud of witnesses through out the centuries of changed live. Jesus Settled the dispute by raising from the dead to open the spiritual eyes and ears of faith that would see Jesus alive and hear him say, “My Sheep Hear my Voice, I know them and they Follow me. I give them eternal and they shall never parish. No one can take them out of my hands, my father who gave them to me is greater than all and no one can take them out of my father’s hand, the father and I are one.” My friends who is your God, what is your dispute in this life , if we hear his voice and follow him we are in his hand and the hand of his father, safe and secure in the hand of God.
