Where? [authorship: no clue; events: Land of Uz (northern Saudi Arabia 7/or southern Jordan <Edom>, east and south of Dead Sea]
What? [story of a life situation displaying the sovereign superintending and providential rule of God in the life of His people]
See, we count as blessed those who have endured. You have heard of Job’s endurance and have seen the outcome that the Lord brought about—the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, since it is written, He catches the wise in their craftiness;
