Introduction
Greetings...
Today is the day people all over the world celebrate the holiday known as Easter.
teste
It is a holiday that pre-dates the Nicaea Counsel in 325 AD wherein they discussed this holiday and determined the exact Sunday it should be held each year.
So, this isn’t something that “just happened recently” but it is something that was held with much controversy by the early church fathers.
We know the Easter holiday is not scriptural in this since, we have no authority for observing a special day, once a year, for Jesus’ resurrection.
That we do every single week with the Lord’s Supper, as authorized by God through His Word.
With all that said there are many people all over the world that are going to go a worship service for the first time this year.
People all over the world are remembering Jesus, and though this isn’t an authorized biblical holiday, it is a good opportunity for people to learn about the real Jesus and the important questions we should all be asking ourselves.
With this in mind let’s examine several questions in our lesson this morning.
What Do You See In Jesus?
The Greeks came to see Jesus.
In John’s gospel account we read of some Greek prosolites that came to “see Jesus.”
Jn 12:
They had no doubt heard of this man named Jesus and they wanted to meet Him for themselves.
You know they had certain ideas about who they were going to see when they found Jesus.
We need to really see Jesus.
We need to see His deity.
HEb 12:
We need to see His humanity.
We need to see His patience.
We need to see His intolerance.
We need to see His love.
We need to see His wrath.
Jn 2:13-17

When you see Jesus what do you see?
Where Is Jesus In Your Life?
The apostles struggled keeping Jesus in their life early on.
Whether it was arguing over “who is going to be the greatest” (), everyone falling asleep when Jesus needed them (), or the apostles all deserting Jesus when he was taken captive () the apostles struggled to put Jesus in the proper place in their life, before the ascension.
We can do the same if we are not careful.
Just like the apostles we can find ourselves not having Jesus in our life in a proper or biblical way.
Let’s look at some ways in which Jesus should be in our lives.
Jesus should...
Jesus should be our Savior.
Jesus should be dwelling in our heart.
Jesus should be in our speech.
Jesus should be in our mind.
Jesus should be our strength.
Jesus should be in control.
Jesus should be our Savior.

When you look at your life, do you see Jesus in your life as the Bible teaches He should be or not?
What Will You Do With Jesus?
The Jews were asked this very question.
Pilot as the Jews “what shall I do with Jesus who is called the Christ?” to the mob, and unfortunately we know their response.
We must ask ourselves the same question.
What are we willing to do with Jesus?
Are we willing to walk with Him?
Are we willing to walk with Him?
Are we willing to love Him?
Are we willing to accept Him?
Are we willing to tell others about Him?
Are we willing to be risen with Him?

What will you do with Jesus in your life, if in deed He is in your life?
Conclusion
Jesus is the most significant person to every walk the face of this earth and He wants to be a part of your life.
Will you allow this to be the case?
