"Why do you look for the living among the dead?" the angel asks the women. Indeed, the question for them as for us is simply, "Where is Jesus?" The story of the empty tomb gets a lot of air time but, notably, none of the characters believe in the resurrection by the end of their encounter with the tomb. They have what we might all aspire to have - faith enough to look into darkness and hope for light.
