It seems contradictory to describe the unjust execution of an innocent person as “good”, until we understand why it happened and what it accomplished. Jesus died “once for all” to set us free from guilt and death. His death was the “death of death”. We no longer have to prove ourselves to God or others. We are accepted without the need for endless sactifices.
