Intro

Remember when you was told yes as a child.
Ask someone to marry you.
God is a prayer answering God to the righteous.
V4. Traveled to worship God & conduct the inaugural ceremony

Military commanders
judges and governors of the nation
the clan leaders & citizens.

Pleased with the worship, Solomon heart was surrendered to God, God
commanded Solomon to ask.
The same promise is Solomon had, God has offered to us.

Note Solomon’s response: He first remembered what God had done for
his father, and then for himself.

Nothing is too big for God

Vs 7-8.
Too many people give in to the size of a thing: it’s too big, it’s too heavy, I
cant see around it, I can’t pull myself up that high.
God will put it there so like Solomon you will know to rely on God.
Solomon was gripped by a deep, intense sense of helplessness and a
desperate need for God help.
Vs 9.
understanding heart - hearing heart/ not mind.

Closing

When God Says yes:
No weapon formed against me will prosper
