In our first reading, the Israelites are saying, that the Lord has forsaken me, my Lord has forgotten me! God asks, can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for her child of her womb? The shocking answer is yes she can. But God says even if should she forget, I will never forget you, you will never be without tenderness from me.
In the Gospel, Jesus says Amen I say to you however hears my voice and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation having done good deeds.
Brothers and sisters yes, God will never leave us nor forsake us, he always hears our prayer forgives our sins loves and cares for us. God will never forget and stop caring for the aborted child and her mother. The question is are we hearing God’s voice listening and believing. Are we doing all we can, legally, ethically, and in our praying for the unborn not to be left without tenderness, for end of abortion.?
