Have you ever tripped someone?
Have you ever been tripped?
If you were running a race that was really important to you and one of your best friends tripped you while you were running how would that make you feel?
Why would you never do that?
Intro
Last week = Christian Liberty
Today = Christian Responsibility / Stumbling Blocks
Stumbling Blocks |
As a strong / weak Christian what is my responsibility to the rest of the body / my other brothers / sisters in Christ?
How should I seek to go about performing / fulfilling these responsibilities to the body?
Prayer
God will you please convict us where we need conviction, restrain us where we need restraint, free us where we are bound, and grant us grace and mercy in your patient lovingkindness as we struggle through our own personal walks with you.
God help us to understand and embrace the truth found in your word of individual salvation and personal relationship along with the truth of the mutual body of the Christian Church and the connectivity and responsibility of all believers to one another.
God I ask for us today that you will break strongholds of legalism and licentiousness in our lives and our church and that you would foster unity based upon knowledge practiced in love
