For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

tells us the the law is but a shadow of the good things to come, but Christ is the true reality.

He fulfilled the law.

“Of all that was practised under the Law, there was nothing that had any power in itself to make atonement for sins, to appease the wrath of God, and to obtain justification; but now the true salvation is exhibited and manifested to the world.”

On this doctrine depends the abolition of all the ceremonies of the Law; for it would be absurd to follow shadows, since we have the body in Christ.

All the sacrifices of the law have ceased, the temple veil is now torn in two.

7 What then shall we say?

That the law is sin?

By no means!
