Oh what a wonderful day yesterday was.
This morning’s Biblical call to worship comes from David’s song of victory in .
Let’s all hear God’s Holy Word (vv26-31)
Our God and our Father we thank You for the promise in Your Word, that You are a refuge, a mighty fortress for all that take refuge in You.
And we are those that You have gathered by Your grace, we have taken refuge in Your Son, we are hidden in the cleft of the Rock, safe from Your wrath, safe Your judgment, safe from condemnation that we rightly deserved.
And now we have recieved as heirs, adoption by grace, as sons and daughters, we’ve recieved a righteousness that is not our own, but is given freely to us in Christ Jesus.
We thank You and praise You for this grace and we ask You Lord in confidence because of all that You have pledged Yourself to us in the gospel, that You would pour out blessing upon blessing upon us this morning.
That by the proclamation of the truth of Your Word and by our ministry to one another, even as we testify to one another in song of our hope in Christ,
We pray and ask that You would strengthen weak faith, that You would bring humility and conviction in the prideful heart, and that You would encourage us all of the promised hope we have in the Scriptures through Christ and it’s in His glorious Name we pray....AMEN.
