Gospel and Culture—We cannot be Silent 2 Timothy 3-4
When you have an immoral society that has blatantly, proudly, violated all of the commandments of God, there is one last virtue they insist upon: tolerance for their immorality.
They will not have you condemning what they have done as being wrong, and they have created a whole world construct in which it is not, and in which they are no longer the criminal or the villain or the evil person, but you are!
And so they call evil good, and good evil . . .
and believe me, that is just the beginning.
Dr. D. James Kennedy

Telos: Christians must know the way of the world and courageously respond to it!
1.
The Attitudes of a Christ-less Culture (1-9)
2. The Actions of a Christ-Centered Christian (10-17)
“We are called to be the people of the truth, even when the truth is not popular and even when the truth is denied by the culture around us.
Christians have found themselves in this position before and we will again.
God’s truth has not changed.
The Holy Scriptures have not changed.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ has not changed.
The church’s mission has not changed.
Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, today, and forever.”
