Introduction - This feast took place immediately after Passover and lasted 7 days.
7 speaks of completeness.
7-days creation, 7-times Jericho, 7-dips Naaman, 7th day-sabbath, 7th year, 49th- Jubilee.
Only the Lord=s chosen ones were to participate in the feast.
It was to be kept as long as the person lived.
I.
It was a feast to commemorate the quick exit from Egypt.
                A.
They left in haste - Ex.12:33-34, Duet.16:3

Brought out by God=s power.
Ex.13:3

To remember this event all leaven was to be removed from the house.
Ex.12:15

Not used in the baking process.
Leaven = yeast.

REPLACED with unleavened bread.

Conclusion - Today we keep the feast of unleavened bread by allowing Jesus to clean house and deal with sin.
And to remember how He has delivered us from bondage.
This work must continue until we get to heaven.
Then our sanctification will be complete.
