Heb 4:15  15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus is the transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality-Truth is a person-Jesus Christ

Jn 5:22-23   22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Jn 5:28-29  28 Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 and come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

Jn 12:48  48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

Php 2:9-11   9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus is the state of being the case : fact-Jesus is the way it is

Jn 8:58  58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Jesus is the body of true statements and propositions-Jesus is the Spoken Word of God

1 Pe 1:13  13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Jesus is the Life

1life \ˈlīf\ n

pl lives \ˈlīvz\ [ME lif, fr. OE līf; akin to OE libban to live — more at live] bef. 12c

1     a      the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body

b      a principle or force that is considered to underlie the distinctive quality of animate beings

c      an organismic state characterized by capacity for metabolism, growth, reaction to stimuli, and reproduction

2     a      the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual

b      one or more aspects of the process of living 〈sex life of the frog〉

Jesus is the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional being from a dead body

Lk 12:23  23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

Jn 1:4   4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Jn 3:15   15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Jn 5:26   26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

Jn 5:20-21   21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.

Mt 10:28-33   28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

(as opposed to death)

Re 21:7-8   8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Jesus is the sequence of physical and mental experiences that make up the existence of an individual

Jn 6:63   the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Jn 10:10  10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd.

Mt 6:28-34   28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
