Servant of God Submitting One’s Self to the Lord

As the Holy Spirit speaks to us, we pray that we will allow our hearts and mind to receive what the Lord desires of us as His servants in the God of Christ.
First let’s view how our Lord and Savior is truly our example as the suffering Suffering Savior sent as the servant of all mankind.
shares”For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not, but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. We can learn of Jesus’s suffering by receiving the steps of His earthly ministry. Peter, one of Jesus’s first disciples, learned of Jesus’ suffering , as God’s plan of salvation. ( teach “From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must suffer may things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.”
Therefore, our brothers and sisters we like Peter must know that those who follow our Savior mus prepare to suffer as His servants. says “And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.”
As one prepares to follow in the the examples and foot steps of our Savior and Lord daily, following Jesus requires us to lose our lives for the sake of the Gospel. The Lord desires that we choose to follow him rather than to lead a life of sin self-satisfaction.
Furthermore, the Lord wants us as His called servants to not try to control our lives but allow him to lead and direct our lives by His Holy Spirit. Why? Because He’s Creator, He known better than we do what real life is all about; in all that we lay our hands to do in His kingdom requires us to submit to Him and to Him only.
We are made alive with Christ, we are shown His mercy and are given eternal salvation, as we stand for His truth, we are called to be His children, free in Him to love, serve, and sit with Him to raised up with Him in glory.
As one accepts the Lord’s calling; it is expected of that individual or individuals to walk om the light of our Savior Jesus Christ.
The Word of God gives us clear guidance on how we are to become light as His servants.
The Book of Matthews Chapter Five teaches us that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught His first disciples as the True Son of David, rather than just a miracle worker, the people had observed Him giving sight to the blind, raising the dead (He raised His friend Lazarus from the dead after being dead for four days) the lame was given the ability to walk again and those who were controlled by demonic forces.
Therefore, what was said by the prophet Isaiah, in “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.” The people operated in darkness and as the prophet Isaiah stated, Luke utters in the New Testament; that the Messiah came “To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
Servants of the Lord are expected and are called to be those who will share His peace in all that they do.
Furthermore, although Jesus was being followed by a great multitude; who had experienced His miracle working power, His teaching was directed to His disciples and even to those who would even hear and receive His message of eternal salvation. To become His servants as they heard and grasped more about His ministry.
teaches “And seeing the multitudes, he went up onto a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him. Then “He opened His mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
