If you pursue God, everyone will think you’re crazy!
Here, They said Jesus was going crazy;
The apostles in were said to be drunk;
They said Paul was mad!
If people call your zeal for the Lord crazy, you are in good company!
You don’t have to TRY to be crazy, you just need to follow the Bible and do what is right…That is crazy enough for most!

Christ gives us a very interesting response to these accusations and He does not just say, “I am not!” He challenges their accusation and illustrates how absurd it is...

Remember that Christ has bound the strong man, Satan. Satan’s power is not limitless as Christ’ is.
Vs. 27 - Christ has already won the victory! He has put a limit on Satan and one day will completely finish him!

This does not mean Christ did not love His mother! Think about it though; He still “must be about my Father’s business”!
notice how they did not come into the house to speak to Christ, they sent someone else to go talk to Him and to tell Him to come out to them!
There was no pressing need here! I believe they were feeling a bit embarrassed that Jesus was doing all this “wild” stuff and the Pharisees were accusing Him of having a devil, and his friends thought he was crazy and so, they thought they would come take Him away and stop the show!
We do not reject our families, but they may think we are crazy. That is difficult, but one day, standing before God, we will be glad we followed God’s Word.
