GRACE
Part 1: What Grace is
What Grace is
Gods Enabling power!
Gods unmerited favor!
This is a big topic that most adults don't fully understand, but i believe you blokes are ready for some meat and not just milk!
So stay with me!
Gods unmerited favor!
So stay with me!
We have been speaking about Life, Success and things of God.
We speak about the why, where and how of success, to learn, practice and better use the things that God has given us.
Gaining Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom.....Knowing it, Understanding it and Making the most of it
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
We have Grace, but if don’t know it, we may as well not have it, its worthless to us
The devils job is to keep us blind to it or make us not value it
Our job is to arm our selves with the truth and live in a way that best uses what God has given us
When we learn like this it can seem like what were saying is, If we do this then........
It can seem like what were saying is
If we do this then........
That’s not Grace.
Grace is we are already gifted, blessed, called and loved.
We already have all we need in Christ Jesus
The question is, do we know what we have?
and do we use what we have been given?
Its whether or not we use what we have been given
Its like being given $1m, not everybody will make the most of it, some people will waist it some people will invest it wisely
Its given freely, but what comes of the gift will be more about the person who’s hand it is in than the person who gave the gift
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
Making the most of it
We have Grace, but if don’t know it, we may as well not have it, its worthless to us
The devils job is to keep us blind to it or make us not value it
Our job is to arm our selves with the truth and live in a way that best uses what God has given us
Of course God wants you to use the gift to increase your life and others, but ultimately its not up to him what you do with it, that on you!
Grace is we are already blessed, called,
The Parable of the Talents
It’s not if you have been given gifts and talents by finding what they are and developing them
I want to speak about the difference between being wise, diligent, careful
The Parable of the Bags of Gold
25:14–30Ref—Lk 19:12–27
14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.
15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability.
Then he went on his journey.
16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.
17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.
18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.
20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five.
‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold.
See, I have gained five more.’
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.
Come and share your master’s happiness!’
22 “The man with two bags of gold also came.
‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’
23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!
You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.
Come and share your master’s happiness!’
24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came.
‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground.
See, here is what belongs to you.’
26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant!
So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?
27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
28 “ ‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.
29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.
Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Grace is free, but God does have an expectation of increase
The money was a free gift, but it came with an expectation of increase.
Grace is free, but God does have an expectation of increase
and the Grace of God
Listen to Paul in regards to not wasting GRACE
().
I don’t deserve to be included in that inner circle, as you well know, having spent all those early years trying my best to stamp God’s church right out of existence.
10–11  But because God was so gracious, so very generous, here I am.
And I’m not about to let his grace go to waste.
Haven’t I worked hard trying to do more than any of the others?
Even then, my work didn’t amount to all that much.
It was God giving me the work to do, God giving me the energy to do it.
So whether you heard it from me or from those others, it’s all the same: We spoke God’s truth and you entrusted your lives.

The Grace of God is the help, love, gifts and power to do what he calls us to do
If we are to succeed in life it will only be the Grace of God on our lives to do it, but its up to me whether I treasure that gift enough to invest in the Grace that God has given me
If we fail in that Grace it will only be because we didn't know or we didn't care.
It wont be because God hasn't given us what we need
Do I treasure what I know enough to live it out?
Practise it?
use it?
Groups like these are Gods Grace for us to know his word, so we can live in the fullness of his power and plan for our lives, but it up to us whether we do anything with it
Do we practice what we know?
Can a work be Grace
