Prophets?
Prophecy?
Prophetic Worship?
There is so much confusion as to what is supposed to be happening in these offices.
*Prophets?*
·      I saw a vision this morning of a man standing in a door way.
It connected two rooms.
One room was dark and the other was light.
Everyone standing in the dark room that looked at the man standing in the doorway could only describe a shadow and outline of, because of the darkness that they were in.
Then I saw the man in the doorway turn around and everyone that was in the room with the light could see his face and describe him in detail.
That is a picture of the difference between an Old Testament Prophet and a New Testament one.
But also it helps us understand as believers what we are reading when we read the Old and New Testaments.

67 And his father *Zacharias** was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied*, saying, 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways; 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, 78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 *To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.*
(KJV)

Eph 3:3-11
3 *How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,*
*4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and /prophets/ by the Spirit;* 6 /That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:/ 7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles*/ the unsearchable riches of Christ/**; /9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:/10 /To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, 11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord/*/:/ (KJV)

A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

*2 Cor 3:12-18*
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, *we use great plainness of speech*: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 *Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away*.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

5 or we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God *in the face of Jesus Christ.*
