1. Family belong together

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
2. God’s Family: Whoever does the Father’s WILL
So what does that mean?

3. God’s Will: TURN and TRUST
In other words, TURN from the evil that separates you from God.
Flesh/Desire/Pride: Sin
Rom 3:23
Instead, TRUST in what Jesus did for you and live forever.
This separates us from the evil generation.
Instead, we are going to trust God.
God’s family isn’t afraid of anything.

4. If they don’t BELIEVE they are not in the FAMILY
Do you believe in what he has done?
Died, came back to life, and paid for your sins.
God loves you so much that Jesus came and died to pay for your guilt.
- All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
- But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
So, Sin vs Love. What is the end result of each?
- For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life
Have you repented?
You are sorry for sinning against the King
You desire to turn away from that life
You come by faith, you must believe
From that comes a confession- you claim that God is your King now.
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. ().

The truth is so many people will spend their whole lives cleaning their house, but they will not have a family of to fill it with.
The Bible tells us that if we hear his voice we shouldn’t harden our hearts and ignore it.

Instead, we are going to trust God.
