We Believe That....

We believe that God created the earth for man to enjoy and have dominion over
We believe that God created Man & Women in His image and instituted the marriage covenant between men and women and gave them dominion over the earth
We believe that man disobeyed God and broke the fellowship and dominion he had before the fall allowing sin and death to reign
We believe that sin is passed on through the flesh and therefore the payment needed to be made in the flesh
We believe that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh coming to redeem His creation form the curse of sin and death
We believe that Jesus lived the perfect life becoming the perfect sacrifice for sin thereby paying the penalty for the original sin by the shedding of His blood and His suffering. Man freeing him now from the curse of sin and death through the shed blood of Jesus Crist
We believe that Jesus demonstrated His love for us by dying a criminals death on the cross and when He announced “it is finished” the keys to life, earth and the Spiritual realm was transferred from satan to Himself
We believe that the cross is the only way of salvation for the forgiveness of sin and wholly accepted by God demonstrated by the resurrection of Jesus ChristWe Believe That....
Today we believe in the blood of Jesus Christ
Leviticus 17:11 NKJV
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’
In the Old Testament there was a steady flow of blood from the temple offered for the covering of the sins of the people
It was clear to everyone that there was a terrible price to pay for the sins committed
In the above verse we see that the life in in the blood - stop the beed campaign!
Romans 6:23 NKJV
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When we sin our blood is required from us but because it is already tainted by sin it is ineffectual to “cleanse us” from our sin. It was only payment for the sin we committed
Exodus 25:17 NKJV
“You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width.
“mercy seat” - atonement cover
What was in the Ark? Representations of God’s faithfulness and man’s failures!
Interesting to note that where the blood of the sacrifices was poured was where God told Moses His presence would dwell!
Exodus 25:22 NKJV
And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.
It was clear from the beginning that the place of sacrifice would be the place of communion!
During the plagues of Egypt the Israelites were instructed to put the blood of a slain lamb on the doorpost of their houses and the judgement of GOd would “passover” them!
Exodus 12:13 NKJV
Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
A clear picture again of the blood of Christ coving us from the judgement of God
You see the power of sin is to separate you from God
Isaiah 59:2 NKJV
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.
Sin has the power to bring guilt
Psalm 38:4 NKJV
For my iniquities have gone over my head; Like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
Sin gives Satan ammunition against us
Revelation 12:10 NKJV
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
Sin demands our lives from us
Ezekiel 18:4 NKJV
“Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die.
The blood of Christ satisfies the judgement of God
Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
The blood of Christ cleanses us from guilt
Hebrews 9:14 NKJV
how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
The blood of Christ sanctifies us
Hebrews 13:12 NKJV
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
The blood of Christ brings us close to God
Colossians 1:20–21 NKJV
and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
The blood emboldens us to the throne
Hebrews 10:19–22 NKJV
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Is it any wonder that the price of darkness and his cohorts shudder at the mention of the blood of Jesus Christ!
The blood dissolves any rights the Satan can claim against us
Colossians 1:9–14 NKJV
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
