It got so bad that God said in our 1st reading today that “The Desire of Man’s heart are evil from the start”.

God again saved a remnant of the human race from total corruption, through the ark and when Noah stepped on dry ground the first thing he did was to build an Altar and offer Sacrifice to God.

And God said As long as the Earth Lasts times and seasons seedtime and harvest shall not cease.

Conclusion

From Noah’s time until now violence, atrocities and injustices has not ceased and even multiplied, especially against the innocent unborn, but as long as the earth lasts we have the Altar of God, from which our sins are forgiven, spiritual blindness healed, we are nourished and strengthened, and made one with God, so that we can take the love and light of Jesus Christ our Lord into the dark and blind places of our world until Jesus comes again.

In our Gospel the blind man was healed and enlightened gradually by Jesus.

So all long as the Earth Lasts we have the Altar of God, from which our sins are forgiven and we are nourished and strengthened, enlightenment and makes us eternally one with him.
