Galatians 3:20 KJV 1900
20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV 1900
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Provider

Provider
. Abraham binds only son, Isaac. As he’s about to sacrifice him, God provided him with another sacrifice, a ram caught in the thickets. Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh, meaning “The Lord will provide”.
. Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice as he offered himself for sins, forever. Instead of animal sacrifices, we now only ask for repentance.
Genesis 22:13–14 KJV 1900
13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.

Victory

. Israel goes to fight against Amalek, we read Moses is standing on top of a hill and while his hands are raised, Israel prevailed against Amalek. Joshua, who was leading Israel in battle, eventually defeated their enemy. After their victory, Moses erected an altar to memorialize what God had done for Israel, and the name of that altar was called Jehova-nissi, meaning “God is my banner”.
. Paul is describing the resurrection and how those still alive at the coming of Christ will experience a transformation, while the dead shall be raised up because death has no power, death was swallowed up in victory, that victory which comes through our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Peace

. Gideon has a conversation with an angel of the Lord and the angel tells Gideon that God will be with him as Israel is delivered from he Midianites. Gideon goes to prepare a meal for his host and the angel of the Lord caused fire to come out of the rock and consume it, and departs from Gideon. It isn’t until this point that Gideon realizes that he’s just entertained an angel of the Lord and fears fro his life. When Moses () asks to see the glory of God, God only showed him his hinder parts because no man can see the face of God and live. God acknowledges Gideon’s genuine concern and tells him not to fear Him, that he will not die, and He gives him peace. Gideon builds an altar and calls it Jehova-shalom, meaning “The Lord is peace”.
. Jesus and his disciples had just finish the last supper, and Jesus reveals that he will be betrayed and depart from them, and they’re troubled their hearts. , Jesus tells them not to be troubled in their hearts by the fact that they were about to lose him because in , Jesus speaks about a comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, coming in the name of Jesus, is going to be the peace humanity needs to calm troubled hearts and dispel anxiety.
Jehovah is usually translated as Lord in teh bible. Jehova is a Latinized version of teh letters YHWH, using a “J” for “Y” and a “W” for a “V” and adding vowels. The word is derived from taking the letters YHWH and adding the vowels from the word Adonai (Lord) to these letters. Because the name of the Lord is sacred, no vowels appear in the name YHWH. Most biblical scholars translate “LORD” as Yahweh. When most Jews see the name YHWH in the bible, they read “Adonai” to show respect for the name of the Lord.
Truth. Some people treat truth like an onion. If they don’t like what they see or hear, they begin to peel it back, one layer at a time. But truth doesn’t operate in layers. Once you begin to strip truth, you no longer have validity. Instead, you’ve sacrificed the whole truth for a portion. I’ve never heard anyone ask God to address a need in their body, hoping only to receive a partial healing, or ask God for a partial blessing, and we aren’t supposed to offer ourselves as a living partial sacririce, but my God operates in the whole. We cannot just remove the words in red and live under the old law because Jesus was glorified and fulfilled the law when that temple was torn down and that veil was split. Jesus said “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up”.
Judges 6:11–24 KJV 1900
11 And there came an angel of the Lord, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. 12 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. 13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. 14 And the Lord looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee? 15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house. 16 And the Lord said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man. 17 And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me. 18 Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again. 19 And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought it out unto him under the oak, and presented it. 20 And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so. 21 Then the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the Lord departed out of his sight. 22 And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an angel of the Lord face to face. 23 And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. 24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.
