Finding Our Story

Phil 3 - we have no story until Christ.
No identity, no individualism until Christ
In Christ we find our story
2 Corinthians 5:17 HCSB
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.
Knowing Your Story
Paul has returned to Jerusalem - seen as a traitor
false accusations, grabbed him,
Damascus road moment - we all have a moment when we have to decide - surrender

vs 6-9 - confronting - realize who is God and who is not
personal - just you and your decision
vs 10 - no longer my plans - going to Damascus to lead away, now he had to be lead there
surrender = trust

vs 11-16 - trust must equal action and obedience
vs 17-21 - as we obey we find our purpose and mission
