/Faith  Hebrews/
/Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality – faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.

Yesterday I wrote about hope and waiting for what God has promised us.
As we wait with anticipation faith is stirred within us.
It is this that gives us the conviction that we will receive what He has promised.
\\ \\ Faith is the title deed of the things that we hope for; those of you who have ever owned property will know that they are the evidence of the right to own it.
Even before we actually occupy the property we have the title deed.
Occupation does not denote ownership, family history does not prove it either – you have to have a piece of paper that says you own it.
Faith is like that piece of paper, it’s our proof that what we are waiting for is on the way; proof to us and proof to those around us.
