A time-honored story but still powerful tells about a man who dreamed he died and went to hell. In hell he saw not the fire and brimstone he expected. Instead he discovered a great banquet table piled high with food. Around it sat the most miserable looking emaciated people he had ever seen. Close observation revealed why. To the arms of each one were strapped 10 ft. forks.
Later he dreamed he went to heaven. There also he saw a great banquet table, and around it sat men and women with 10 ft. long forks strapped to their arms. Yet they looked happy and well-fed. Why? They were feeding each other.
