We have been going through the Beatitudes and I was thinking, how do these sayings of Jesus tie together with the our foundations verse of ?
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
and I came to the conclusion that in the name of Beatitudes is where we find our answer.

We already went through v.10 in the our first study of the Beatitudes, because it has the same reward as v. 3
Verse 3. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

What are some ways that we can see v. 3, 10, and 11 are tied together?
They are all a reward for being brought down by the world or the enemy.

Verse 11. Is the last verse of the Beatitudes (Beatitudes could be described as how a Christians attitude should be.)
This is why I think that to get a proper foundation in Christianity, this was a good place to start.
Jesus could have put the Beatitudes in any order that He wanted. What are some of the reasons that Jesus put this verse in the last of the list of the Beatitudes?
