INTRODUCTION
Last week we talked about how pruning made the branches produce more fruit.
Also we mentioned that unproductive branches were cut off and thrown into the fire.
Then we spent some time talking about the benefits of Abiding in Christ.
Benefits such as God’s care, being clean, reproduction and love.
Today we further our understanding of abiding by looking at the development of obedience, love, relationships and responsibility.
Then we move on to looking at the worlds response of hate and how the Holy Spirit’s coming would help remind us of Jesus life and teaching as well as how we must talk about Jesus because we know the beginning.
Today is also Communion Sunday so we want to be thinking about how all of this helps us to remember what Jesus has done for us through His death on the cross.
