Intro
How many parents do we have in here?
Ok, so most of you should be able to understand this story.
I love my daughter Emma.
She’s such a joy in my life and she is smart beyond measure.
Most people won’t know that, because she’s also shy beyond measure.
But, there’s one thing that she does, that sometimes drives me crazy.
If she wants my attention, she will continually call out saying, “Daddy!”
Over and over again until I, not Elizabeth, respond, “Yes Emma?”
It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, or where we are.
If she wants my attention, she will call out, “Daddy!”
I don’t think that this is something that is exclusive to just children calling out to their parents.
Husbands, how often does your wife call out your name over and over trying to get your attention?
Or does that just happen to me?
