B. 2 Cor 1:4; Comforts us in all our tribulations.
C. We testify by experience.
Experience is the best teacher.
Romans 8:28; And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Paul in Prison – Hard but necessary for the furtherance of the gospel.
D. 2 Cor 1:7; ... A steadfast hope for you.
We believe.

If God did it once, He'll do it again.
2. If God worked out once problem, He'll work out another problem.

If God healed once, He'll heal again.
E. 2 Cor 1:8; ... Everyone has trouble.
Trouble came to Paul.
The devil's work expounded.
1. Be not ignorant.
Paul wanted them to know of his struggle.
Not so that they could feel sorry for them, but so that they could take courage.
