A number a years ago John Maxwell wrote a book entitled, “ The 21 irrefutable laws of leadership” ..
The first law in the book is the “Law of the Lid’
21 .. In the book He says that this law not only impacts leadership but every aspect of life.
So what is the law of the lid?
Maxwell says that this law not only impacts our leadership but every aspect of life.
So what is the law of the lid?
The law of the lid says.. “ leadership ability is the lid that determines a person’s level of effectiveness.”

The lower an individual’s ability to lead, the lower the lid on his potential.
The higher the individual’s ability to lead, the higher the lid on his potential.
To give you an example, if your leadership rates an 8, then your effectiveness can never be greater than a 7.
If your leadership is only a 4, then your effectiveness will be no higher than a 3.
Your leadership ability—for better or for worse—always determines your effectiveness and the potential impact of your organization.

I was thinking about this word Remain… often we thinking what we’ve attained… completed.... its like cutting up a pie.. serving it to your guests.., there is a potion that is eaten.... then their is what remains… God is interest in what remains…

The first 10 Chapters we have seen the major battles that Israel fought and last week we talked about the battle at Gibeon which defeated five major cites at one time… We move from Specific battles to more general description of battles to the North and the South..
by conquering the center of Canaan to drive a wedge between the northern and southern parts of the land and prevent a united counterattack.
Then Joshua launched campaigns against the southern and northern cities.
Excellent military strategy, yet God tried to let them never forget that their victories were due to His power.
