CITP: Jesus is explaining to his disciples that when he is gone He will send the Holy Spirit to lead them.
CISP: The Holy Spirit is what helps us as we walk the earth.
P: Kids will learn God’s Spirit is with them in the way of the Holy Spirit.

1) Have you ever been scared or worried?
2) Tell your friends a time when wished you had someone around to help you because you were scared or worried.
3) Does God wake you up in the morning? Then how do we know he is with us?
We – all have times when we are scared, lonely, need someone to be close to us and help us. If you don’t then you’re not human. In these times we need someone to hold us close and show us everything is ok.
ILL - Scary time on a beach...
T.S. - Jesus hasn’t ever walked into my room so how do I know he is with me each and every day...
Bible -
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
P: Kids will learn God’s Spirit is with them in the way of the Holy Spirit.
You – when you put your trust in Jesus, He sends His Spirit to go with you. It is like you have your own pokemon from Jesus with you. When you are scared , lonely and need a friend the best in all of life is with you. Jesus! If Jesus had stayed...then He would no be able to be ever were at once. Jesus wanted to make sure he could be with all of us at one time.
We – ask Jesus into our lives and at that very moment Jesus says my spirit is with you. His Spirit is here to help you and I show the world His Great Love!
PRAYER - Thank you Jesus for your Holy Spirit and how you help me at all times in life.
