If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The sin against the Father must be satisfied.

The wrath of the Father must be satisfied.

We are all under the sentence of sin.

The wrath of the Father must be satisfied.

How does God fell about sending people to hell?

God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Ezekiel 33:11 ESV
11 Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?

Jesus is the way to the Father. v6

He has provided the forgiveness of sins. - 1 John 1:7 & 1 John 1:9

He has satisfied the wrath of the Father. - Romans 3:24,26

He has broken the power of sin. Romans 6:6-7

Jesus is the way to the Father.

3. Jesus is with the Father.

He grants us acceptance with the Father. - Romans 5:1

He grants us relationship with the Father.

He grants us to be like the Father.

Is the Father, then, the same as heaven? Ay, indeed; to come to the Father is to come to perfect blessedness, to know the fulness of his eternal love, and to enjoy it in face-to-face communion;—this is heaven. What higher bliss can we desire?

Jesus is the way to the Father.
