Attain To the Unity Of Faith

Attain To the Unitly Of Faithh to be united. As we see the many different Christian denominations one might conclude that we are not unified. So what is Paul referring to here? I believe that He is talking about the irreducible minimums about Christ. This means that although we may have different doctrinal positions, their are certain core beliefs that we should all hold in unity. These are all based on Christ . We are united in Christ. Read the Core beliefs. It is when we are unified that we are strong.. It is the focusing on our doctrinal differences that that weaken the church.

Attain the Knowledge Of the Son of God

Head knowledge of Christ

This is studying the Word of God. God reveals Himself to us in His word. Everything that He wants us to know about Him is written in His word. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is intended for us to know Him and how to live for Him. The more you study the more you will know.

Experiential knowledge of Christ

As you learn the word of God, you begin to know the principles of the Word. these principles are tangible for everyday living. When you live in the principles of God’s word, you will experience Christ at a deep level. You will see Him at work in your life!

Attain To the Mature Man

This is the sanctification process. This is when you put off the old person and start living in the new life. this is a life-long process. We all will go through seasons of life that will grow us. It s in these different seasons that we become more Christ-like. Just as we cannot expect a child to be mature in all aspects of life, neither can a new believer. We must live life in the Word of God in order to mature. And just as a person that never matures in life, but stays immature, so is a person that does not grow in the Lord by living in His word.

Attain To the Fullness Of Christ

This is when your will is as Christ’s is. You think the way Christ thinks, speaks the way Christ speaks, and does as Christ does. When Christ is your satisfaction alone, you have experienced he fullness of Christ

Don’t Be Swayed By Different Waves Of Doctrine

There are many doctrines that are outside the christian faith. One of the predominate ones in Paul’s day was Judaism. It focused on works and circumcision for salvation. There will be people that will say that no matter what faith you have they will all lead to God. There are religions that pretend to be Christian but are not. They have been misled by false prophets and teachings. (Joseph Smith mormon, Jehovah Witness do not believe Jesus is God) There will be others that say there is no such thing as God. Others will say religion is for people that do not have the ability to think critically. Others will say church is not necessary. There are many waves of doctrines. The only true doctrine is that which is spelled out in God’s Word.

Grow Up In All Aspects In Christ

1. Are you living in the calling that Christ has for your life?

2. Are you experiencing Christ in your life?

3. Are your growing in faith?

4. Are you serving?

5. Are you giving?

6. Are you teaching?

7. Are you making Disciples?
