Everything has a purpose
There is a time for everyhting.
Anbd there is a purpose for everyhting.How terrible to go through a time, for a purpose and totally miss that purpose.
What are the purposes behinf the times?
The purpose of birth?
The purpose of death?
The purpose of planting?
The purpose of reaping?
The time to kill may come and has come for the purpose of ridding the owrld of tyriny and oppresion.
What about a time to weep?
What could the purpose of that be?
And the time to laugh - that has its purpose.
Every season of our life is part of a specific time, that has a specific purpose - To glorifgy God and draw us closer to Him.
The tradgy is going through a season, for a reason and NOT growing.
Sowing seeds is good.
Reading a harvest is good.
But theyr are only good in the right season.
If you sow seeds in summer they will dryout and die.
If you try reap in winter, they will not have any fruit and the harvent will be terrible.
Everything has its season, and everything season has its reason.
we may not always know the reasons, but we can always trust that God is on controil of the seasons.
this is particularry true when God is doing som ething new in our lives.
Mechanic stands to the side cause he knows he is doing.
How do we make sure that we dont miss the purpose of the seaons we face?
1: Do the work of God.
2: Do the work that must be done in EVERY season.
KJeeping with the farming analogy: Some things are aseaosn specif like sowing and reaping.
But others things are done year round in all seasons - watering and protecting from pests.
These are “year round” things that we can do, that will help us understand the season more clearly.
But the second thing I want to take from our passage of ecclisiatsing is that all things are always onlt for a season.
One of our great mistakes that we make is that we are very prone to write our current sorrows in stone.
We forget that seasons change.
That winder turns to summer and that night turn to morning.
This is a very powerful demonic delusion that Satan tries to influence God’s siants.
At times we feel like we are in a constant neverending night, but that is simnply not true.
God has set the course of seasons and season always change.
You have to endure the winter so that you can enjoy the summer.
The same child that brough pain to iyts mother in one szeason, bring untold you to her in another.
The pain of pruing a tree in one season, bfring new fresh leaves and harvets in another.
And the sorrow and pain of season, always gives way to the joy and peace on another.
Seasons Change
The knowledge that seasons change bring a whole to level of grace to the good times we enjoy.
If winter can turn to summer, then its also true that summer can turn to winter...
This is not a bad thing, as we have said every season has its purpose, but what this does is bring a whole new level of appriciation for the pleasnent seasons of our lives.
It reminds us to be thanksful and content.
It reminds us to be kind and compassionate. it reminds us to be paitinet and gracious.
It reminds to never take anything for granted, and to live humble lives before God.
It reminds us that we are in constant need of God’s goodness and grace.
