A New Heaven And Earth

We will finish the study on Peters epistles with a positive outlook…the new Heaven and earth.
Let’s read 2 Peter 3:10-18...
Peter starts by saying that JESUS will come like a thief in the night, heavens will pass with a roar and the earth will be destroyed by fire, as said in 2 Peter, verse 7...But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
All will be destroyed that is material, worldly, but not the Spirit. Our Spirit lives on.

In Isaiah 66:22, it says...“For just as the new heavens and the new earth which I make will endure before Me,” declares the LORD, “So your offspring and your name will endure.
<<EXPAND>>
We will endure as we continue to be as followers of JESUS, loving, and being fruitful.
As we are waiting, we hope for the new heaven and earth. Revelation 21:1 says...'Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.'

We must be diligent, Peter says, to be found by JESUS in peace, according to the wisdom given to us.
The Bible is our reference, our instruction manual. 2 Timothy 3:16...'All Scripture is inspired by GOD and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; '

In light of the fact that this world order and the things associated with it will be dissolved, we should live our lives seeking first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness – that is, having holy conduct and godliness.
1 - True believers look for the new heaven earth.
2 - We live to show CHRIST like behavior.

Be on your guard for False prophets and doubters and grow in the knowledge of JESUS.
As we spoke about those who twist the truth for their gain not for the kingdom of JESUS CHRIST, we must stay diligent in our walk, our countenance, and be perceived as ones who have surrendered their life to CHRIST.

Revelation 21:3-4 ...'And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them , and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." '
To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Amen...
Let’s pray...
